Update on CSRP

If you are following myaesi blog, you might be aware of the CSRP program. 

We had a great response from the AeSI students and recent graduates. After the responses were closed the students thoughts on their selected projects were shared with mentors and they finally made the selection. 

We have selected 14 students/graduates for 6 exciting projects. The projects range from propulsion, CFD, FEM and data analysis. 

Below is the text of the email the selected applicants have received. Please check your email if you have applied and were selected. 

This is first such kind of initiative by AeSIAA and we hope everyone participating in the program will find benefit and will come out richer in experience and knowledge. 

As this being the first such program, we expect to learn as much from it as the selected students. For those who couldn't make it in this edition of CSRP, don't be disheartened, we plan to roll out the next CSRP during winter.

Hi All

Thanks for your interest in the first edition of CSRP. If you are reading this email, it means you have been selected by the mentors after reading your submission for the collaborative student research program.

Congratulations. We were seeking collaborative partners for pursuing our academic and research interest and we believe we have found that in you.  

Just like the projects in the industry, most of the projects in CSRP will involve programming, learning new software and methods. So be prepared to accelerate your learning with this program. 

The pace of the program is going to be intensive with daily progress briefing and discussions. 

A full commitment of efforts and time by the participants throughout the program is strongly expected.

Only a limited number of applicants are selected and hope you will do justice to the choice.

Random field discretisation and application in FEM

Development of stator blade using naca aerofoils

Development of CFD post processor and analysis tool

The last date for student registration is by Saturday 7th March 2015.

Few other points for the note:

1. This program is open for all AeSI students and graduates
2. Location is not a restriction in the age of internet
3. The projects are structured for 3 months and have set deliverables at the end of it

This has been delayed because of aero India show and slow response in getting mentors proposals. 

Please be sure to read the brief description of the projects and then apply. 

As we had anticipated, limited number of students will be chosen based on this registration. 

Please apply only if you are serious.

I am sure you will have a great experience in working in this projects and will come out with good exposure out of this practical projects.
